Join us in June for an unforgettable photography adventure exploring Costa Rica’s incredible diversity, from the wild Caribbean coast to the misty rainforests and volcanic landscapes of the interior.
Our journey will take us through the waterways and tropical forests of Tortuguero National Park, where we will photograph abundant wildlife along jungle canals, including monkeys, sloths, caimans, colorful birds, and, with luck, sea turtles along the Caribbean shoreline.
We will spend time in the remote forests of Boca Tapada, a premier destination for bird and wildlife photography, seeking iconic species such as the great green macaw, toucans, motmots, and other tropical treasures. Along the Caribbean coast, we will capture dramatic skies, lush landscapes, and the unique character of Costa Rica’s shoreline, while the rainforest offers endless opportunities to refine techniques for photographing wildlife, intimate nature details, and vibrant tropical environments.
Our adventure will also explore the landscapes surrounding Arenal Volcano, where shifting clouds, rainforest textures, and the towering volcanic cone provide dynamic opportunities for compelling landscape images.
Traveling during June’s green season means fewer crowds, flourishing vegetation, active wildlife, and constantly changing light—creating ideal conditions for photographers looking to capture the natural beauty, biodiversity, and unforgettable atmosphere of Costa Rica.
