No. You do not need professional or high-end equipment to participate. For the best learning experience, we recommend using a camera that allows you to manually control settings such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.

Although we always hope for ideal conditions, weather can be unpredictable. Participants should come prepared for changing temperatures, rain, wind, and insects.

Less-than-perfect weather can also create unique photographic opportunities. When conditions change, our instructors will help you adjust your techniques and make the most of the available light and environment.

Participants are responsible for their own lodging, meals, and transportation to the workshop’s designated home base.

We may arrange discounted rates with select lodging providers in the area. Please review the individual workshop details for available accommodations and booking information.

Any required admission passes or permit fees for state, national, and county park properties are included in the workshop fee.

Yes. Spouses, friends, and other companions may attend as non-participants and join the group at workshop locations.

The non-participant rate is 75% of the regular workshop fee. Please contact us directly for additional information or to make arrangements.
