How much experience do I need?

We're here to help you with that! Whether you just received that DSLR as a present or have been behind a viewfinder for years, we are here to bring your photography to the next level. 

Ok, so do I need an expensive camera?

Nope. We do recommend having a camera which has manual settings (exposure and aperture) to get the best experience. 

So weather.....

While we hope for perfect skies, no bugs, and not a drop of rain, we can't guarantee that. Plan for bad weather and hope for good weather. If we run into less-than-ideal weather, we will show you how to shoot even during those times.

What about other costs?

You are on your own for lodging and food. We work with lodging in the area for discounts, so please check the workshop details for information on that.

We supply any passes needed to get into state, national, and county park properties as part of the workshop cost.

Can non-photographers attend as well?

Spouses and friends can attend the workshops as non-participants. They are able to join at locations with workshop participants. Non-participant attendees can attend at 75% of the workshop fee. Contact us directly if you are interested in this option.
